# Engine

Engines are items that can be obtained by disassembling NFTs owned by the user.\
Engine items cannot be traded in the in-app market.

**\[Epic Grade NFT Engine Slot Equipment]**

Engines can be equipped to the engine slot of an epic-grade NFT to enhance its stats.\
There are four grades of engines corresponding to the grade of the disassembled NFT, and the stats for each grade are as follows:

**\[Auxiliary Role for Evolving to Epic Grade NFT]**

Elite engines can play an auxiliary role when evolving elite-grade NFTs to obtain an epic-grade NFT.

1. Increased Plus Mark Probability\
   By using an elite engine when evolving four elite-grade NFTs to create an epic-grade NFT, the probability of obtaining a plus mark is increased.
2. Increase in Minimum Basic Stat Range\
   By using an elite engine when evolving four elite-grade NFTs to create an epic-grade NFT, the minimum value of the basic stats of the resulting NFT can be increased.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.perplay.io/perplay-whitepaper/game-fi/item/engine.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
